Personal Review:

I bought the Samsung BD-P1650 blu-ray player as part of a package deal that also included a Samsung HD TV & Surround Sound System both in the classy looking shiny black finish that this unit comes in.

The first thing I noticed when unpacking the Samsung BD-P1650 blu ray player was the durable build quality. It wasn’t the lightweight, plastic feel that you get with some products.

Once out of the box I connected it via a gold HDMI cable (not supplied) to the HD TV and when powered up it was ready to use straight away.

The Samsung BD-P 1650 remote control & menus were very easy to use & the picture, sound quality was fantastic also.

One nifty little feature with all Samsung kit is that you can use a single remote to control everything which saves having four of them hanging about by the sofa.

I would recommend the Samsung BD-P1650 to anyone looking for a value for money blu-ray player. There will be better spec units out there but for the price you can pick these up for it is more than ample without compromising quality.

Coupled together with a 37-inch HDTV & Dolby, DTS Surround Sound System you have the perfect home cinema system.

If you are reading this because you’re not sure then take my word for it and go and buy one – you will not be disappointed. I’m happy with my Samsung BD-P1650 blu ray player and haven’t seen another model I wished I’d bought instead.
